To form a double stitch insert the right needle through the centre of the stitch below the next stitch to be knitted, so that both are knitted at the same time. Two double stitches must always have an ordinary stitch between them.”’

Busy doesn't mean much unless I show you!

As promised, updates on projects. You can see in my sidebar how far I have for certain projects before they are finished. I'll try to show just about all.

Sorry these fotos are blurry. These are my Peasant Christmas Slipper Socks. I really loved designing these and hope to make more! Yet another pattern to get on the blog!

This is Elizabeth Zimmermann's Baby Surprise Jacket. I didn't have instructions for the stripes, so I just thought where I wanted them & there they went. (showing back then front)

This is the Infant Warming Blanket that I made for #6. He holds it (when it's chilly) and it goes on his tummy for the night under a fluffy quilt if it really gets cold. I'll be posting the pattern one day.

This is the Cozy Wrap Tabbard, better known as the Watson Wrap. Family will understand why it is named so once the actual product is shown. I did one side too narrow and don't want to take it out. I'll be putting an edge on it and then the one that I make in the adult size will be more like my sketch here. Will also share this pattern.

This is my variation on a capelet found here. It was easy and I plan on making some version for me...one day!

This project will be finished for winter...My Plum Wildflower Socks. They are knee-highs and very warm. Another pattern I will post when finished.

Another 2 pair of socks and countless other projects, but I'm too tired right now! I write the pattern as I knit, for socks to be the same, and for your benefit. I review the pattern while I post it, looking at the garment to verify. I guess I am my own test knitter. I am pleased to take my tangled thoughts and put them into a pattern. Completing!

Well, must go finish my other site's post and probably not return until I have patterns to post!
Ciao for now, and leave a comment...it nice to know someone is interested!

I've Been Ever So Busy!

I've been on Ravelry! If you knit or crochet at all, or love to look at things for inspiration or even free patterns, join today. They have a few days waiting list & the only information required is a user name-anything you want if not taken already and your password!! If you have already joined, please look through my notebook and projects: I'm bellawool

It's a bit easier to post my works in progress, as well as searches, groups, there's so much!! So that's why this page is lacking as far as those things. I will continue to post my patterns here and will link from ravelry to here also!

Ok, for those who haven't joined I'll show a few pictures, but only the things that are not in the "hush-hush it's a gift" catagory!

This an edging. I don't know how I'll use it.

This is a bolero type sweater. It's called the Anthropologie-Inspired Capelet.

It's out of acrylic, but if it turns out as nice as all the other ravelers, then I will make it in a cotton or wool! It's for #1 and if it happens to be too small looking, it will be for #4!

This is the first of the 4th pair of socks for my dear, dear hubby. The very 1st pair (that makes 5 total pairs), I finally shrunk in the wash. If they didn't even fit me, then the children could wear them. Well, they fit dh perfectly now. I guess I need to make me more socks!
I've been doing so much more, but like I said, it's all "hush-hush".
Now don't forget, I'm bellawool on ravelry and you can add me as your friend! I'd love to "meet" you and see all that you've been knitting!!
